I saw an old man staring at a wall
I asked him, “What are you looking at?”
He asked me, “What do you see?”
I said, “I see a wall.”
He said, “I see my life.
When I was five
I peed on the wall
Because I had to go
When I was nine
I threw a ball at the wall
Knowing it would always bounce back
When I was fourteen
I sprayed paint on the wall
As a symbol of my youth
When I was twenty
I drew a heart on the wall
For the woman that I loved
When I was twenty-five
I climbed over the wall
To explore the other side
When I was forty
I climbed back
Realizing both sides were the same
When I was fifty-three
I made the wall higher
As a symbol of my power
When I was sixty-seven
I leaned against the wall
My legs weary from the journey
Now I just look at the wall
And remember all it has taught me
And when I die
The wall will still be there
And that’s okay with me.”
Then the old man asked me once more,
“What do you see?”
And I said,
“I see a wall.”

tribute to pink floyd; the wall
high thoughts...
Sunt doar un manunchi de macese
pe umarul tau glaciar.
Pe pielea ta argintie doar eu defilez.
Pigmentii culorii tale se inclina
cand inainte cand inapoi
iar vantul ne mangaie usor.
Plutesti ca pe-o apa sarata,
iar eu iti soptesc la ureche
ca mirosi a clor.
